one year today :)
Today I'm proud to say that I have my first year of sobriety since I started drinking and using. I have to thank my higher power God for leading me to the rooms of alcoholics anonymous, my sponsor for giving me great advise and suggestions,vmy support group for being there for me when I need support and the wonderful people here on SR who I also consider my support group. I again thank God for guiding me in the right direction and giving me the strengh, courage and wisdom to not take the first drink or hit when I was feeling down and out. I thank God for blessing me with two adorable children who were my inspiration to get into recovery and my inspiration to tough it out in the hard times.As for the people here on SR there are a few I can think of off the top of my head that have given me lots of strength, hope, encouragement and wisdom in the short time I've been here. So thank you very much Daytrader, Dee74, Laurie6781, Keithj, CarolD, Gmoney, Mark75, bballdad and Live for all of the advice and support you've all blessed me with. I'd also like to thank Stellaloella for being a great friend.

Cool deal John. Remember when a month seemed like it was a long time.....and 6 months seemed like an impossibility?
