the dreaded hours coming up
the dreaded hours coming up
I am on day 4 and I have been struggling in the evenings, there are a few hrs that just so overwhelm me and although I know I have sooo many reasons to keep at it, I just can't stand thinking that I am going to be in a constant battle with myself every evening. And the thought of that is starting to creep in to my day thoughts. So here goes, strength to all... And unfortuntely I can't remember my password so I can't even log in from home :o(
Have a good evening all, don't give up, see you all in the morning.

I would think you could ask someone in Admin for password help...or change it at the log-in page if you have access to the email address you used to register?
Evenings are tough for me too. Do whatever you can....long hot baths with a book, lying in there until I'm like a prune, are working for me so far.
Hang in there sister.

It gets better. Just don't feed the "Beast" and it will slowly starve. You have to be strong in your denial of the substance. Go for a walk, or go to a movie, do something to distract yourself. This is a tough weekend for many, because of the holiday. But you can do this if you want it. It gets easier once you decide drinking is no longer an option for you.

I could keep that up for months...it was torture...sitting in a AA meeting or going for coffee was a much better idea than pacing the living room...funny in hindsight how much help is out there and the amount of time i tried to get sober by willpower alone but would i listen at that time...no way!
