Found a home group, FINALLY!!!!!!!

Last night, I attended a SMALL, closed, meeting at 8 pm.

Only 9 of us.

I shared quite a bit, we did a Step 1 discussion.

It was absolutely AWESOME - I plan to make it my home group.

Kelly

I love my home group too. Feels so good to fit right in and be comfortable. I am happy for you.

The bond you cultivate with the people at your first "home" meeting is irreplaceable. Good for you!

Good for you!

Pardon me if this is a dumb question...how do you find a good home group? I'm ambivalent about AA...have been to meetings in the past but never stuck with any of them; always felt like it wasn't a good fit, or I couldn't really identify with the people in the meeting. I would like to give it another try but don't really relish the idea of "trying out" a bunch of different meetings.

I made the first meeting I was able to go to my home group.

Nothing is written in stone you can always change in the future.
