I took a step forward...
Last week, I told my AH of 23 years to move out. Twice! In all of our years of marriage, I have thought about it a million times, but I have never, ever told him to leave.
He didn't go, but that's besides the point. I actually said it, he heard it and couldn't believe it. He has "vowed" to really do it this time (blah, blah, blah)... I doubt he will, but I think it will be easier the next time I tell him to leave. I will have more courage and conviction to follow through.
It feels like a big step to me.
Love, Kerbearz

Good on you KerBearz. It sounds like you're feeling stronger and you've made a huge leap! As you said, even if he doesn't do any of the work, at least you know you can say the words with courage and conviction if or when the time comes....

Way to go Kerbearz! Saying it loud makes it feel a lot more real, doesn't it? You have the strength to do this, and you should be proud of yourself for hearing your own voice--out loud--even if your AH never really hears you. Keep us posted!
