Another month bites the dust...
Hey everyone,
Just thought I would share that I reached 7 months yesterday
My journey into sobriety is still wonderful and I have to say that when people told me at first that it would get better, I am not sure I really believed them. But I have to say, it has been better for quite a while now and continues to improve.
I am turning into a bit of a gym addict now and I am running 3km x 3 times a week! I never would have been able to do that 7 months ago.
On the other days I am lifting weights. I have dropped just over 6 kilos, I feel fantastic. This never would have happened 7 months ago.
Work is going well and not only have I secured a permanent position, I have been offered some pretty cool training to go along with it. This never would have happened to me 7 months ago.
For those of you that are just starting out....sobriety is possible for you too. And it really does get better. I still take it one day at a time, I still come here daily, I still work my recovery and never take sobriety for granted.

you go gurl .. its the promise of things to come thats workin for you , Im happy things are going so awesoe for you , and it shows in your help in chat ... Ive seen the growth tho your words on the screen .. and just think its just the begining .. huggles

Congrats on 7 mths to OzG and JulieJ. I'm impressed Ozgoddess that you got to work out so quickly it took me a whole lot longer to discover/learn that getting and staying in shape was my my life saver.

I have to agree with Endzoner. Your growth and happiness shine through every time I chat with you. This blessing couldn't have happened to a nicer person. The rewards are endless when you do the work. Congratulations on 7 months. Your an amazing woman and bring such joy to so many here. Myself included!
