Hi, I'm new
Hello,
I am excited to have joined this community. I've been looking for support online and this seems like a real supportive group of wonderful people.
My first day of sobriety is August 27, 2010, so I believe as of today is 17 days sober. Wine and Rum are poisons.
It's tough and I've only been to a handful of AA meetings but I just don't feel comfortable at the meetings. I'm glad to be here and hope to find support and friendships.

Welcome and you have our support and there is so much info to be found here.
Wine and rum were my choice as well but no longer.
Keep it going and know that sobriety and a positive lifestyle is a reality

Welcome to SR, it is a wonderful community full of sharing, support, understanding, and friendship... all in an environment where everyone shares a common goal -- staying sober.
