"Continue to watch for selfishness, dishonesty, resentment, and
fear. When these crop up, we ask God at once to remove them. We
discuss them with someone immediately and make amends quickly if we have harmed anyone. Then we resolutely turn our thoughts to someone we can help. Love and tolerance of others is our code."
Alcoholics Anonymous, 1st. Edition,
Into Action, pg. 84

One thing that's so beautiful about this is if I do this everyday there's no way I can hide my defects. I don't have to wait until it becomes a mountain. I nip it in the butt before it gets too big.

..... Gees don't you love when the answer is infront of you and you close your eyes in hopes of not 'seeing' it. LOL i tried to do this today until my sponsor called me on it. Thank God she did. I was getting all wrapped up in trying to 'control' LOL an alcoholic trying to control something LOL 'control' someone else and their drinking. how absurd an idea is that. I can only control my drinking and I give the rest to GOD, not 'some' to God, I give ALL to God. Including my control over everything including my character defect to 'control' every little thing I can. And thank you God for removing that desire from me when I asked you. You are amazing!
