Question just wondering

Today is my day 7, and I'm really feeling strong. I'm wondering about a couple physical things though. Day 5 was really the first day of me going to bed and right to sleep, and I slept ok, and felt almost normal. The last 2 days I've woken up with a sinus (hungover feeling) headache. And this morning I woke up after sleeping for 10 hours LIKE A ROCK, solid good sleep, but I was soooo groggy and felt like crap for about an hour after I woke up. Is this typical withdrawl stuff, or just coincidence that this has happened?

I'd be interested to know that too! When I wake up, I feel overwhelmingly exhausted still and I get so tired often and easily.

Chakra........I lived in Largo for many years....love that area. Have you ever gone to Keegan's on IRB? Love that place, great mahi-mahi.....

Be patient with your bodies you guys......it is doing what it needs to do.....just keep taking care of you.......lots of liquids......the body takes time to heal.....

Hugs to you.

I think its to be expected that it takes awhile for your body to figure out what's going on and get a groove back on. I'm finishing day 26, and my body is still confused, I'm trying to just go with the flow. Plus I've been sick whih also might account for the massive amounts of sleep I've been getting:-)

There is no set in stone time line about early sobriety.
Too many variables to be considered.

The ammount you drank...your age...general health..
your eating habits....all factors that make a difference.

Be gentle with yourself.. staying sober is great for a
healthier more productive future.....

Congratulations to our newly sober members!

Vicious-I went to Red Lion a few times but never Keegans. Had some embarrassing times in IRB a few times...stopped going there. Plus an old friend committed suicide and even though I didn't have a current friendship with him, it was odd to go there.

Ok, I'll just wait it out. I took Short Term Disability from work and am also going to a therapist...I need to hydrate more. That is for shizzell!

I'm 36, eat very clean, exercise at least 4 hours a week, drank daily for a little over a year, and I think my health is pretty good. It seems weird that it would be from any sort of withdrawl, but what do I know...
