Feel Like Alastair Sim's Scrooge?
Feel Like Alastair Sim's Scrooge?
Anybody else ever feel like Alastair Sim's Scrooge on Christmas morning? You know, that giddy, exuberant, "I don't deserve to be so happy" feeling like Sim's Scrooge felt in that classic B&W film?
There are rough patches on the road to recovery to be sure, and some have more than most, but let's share some good times too
Today is a good, good day. The air is clear, the light is perfect, it rained yesterday and all the colours are saturated, there's a cool breeze, I'm on my first morning of holidays from work and I'm not hung over, it's my wife's birthday and when our eight year old daughter wakes up we're going to go crazy decorating the house and make chocolate chip pancakes for Mommy, and this will be the first year that Daddy isn't hungover for Mommy's birthday and will really, and I mean really be getting into it!
See what I mean?
Wanna share your positive stuff?

So many mornings I wake up feeling so good, it's as if I was waking from a long sleep, like Scrooge, with a whole new attitude. I delight in the ordinary things I used to take for granted. I am eager for the day to unfold. I am smiling inside and out. Thanks for the clip. Hadn't seen that one in a long time.
