Hey all:
At the risk of sounding trite, I do have to say that this year's Fourth of July holiday is pretty special in a lot of ways for me. No 'fireworks'' sparked by alcohol-fueled encounters. And a growing independence from booze.

Day 9
Had a great day with a non drinking friend and her puppy visiting. Made a kickass bunch of bbq ribs, corn and potato salad and am now sitting sober watching movies! So happy I will wake up with no hangover tomorrow for my day off work!
