I got rid of his stuff!!!

Today I got up and decided to rent a minvan, call his cousin and ask if i can bring the rest of his crap over today. So I did it and I thought I would be weepy but I wasnt. I am relieved. I moved 15 boxes by myself into the van.

After he texted me yesterday to tell me he is filing for divorce..I got rid of everything and i dont have to have any contact with him anymore. And I made sure I looked great and his cousin hasnt seen me since I lost the weight and grew out my hair. His mouth dropped a bit when he saw me and he said he almost didnt recognize me and I felt good becaue I look good because I am taking care of me..

Laywers handle the rest now. I just lost 180lbs of dead weight and I feel lighter!!!!!
I got my inspiration from my SR family..Hugs to everyone

Lulu

thank you guys..of course he needs to make it more difficult..he texts me saying thanks and if I found his passport..I have now looked 3 times and can not imagine where it could be. Maybe he has it and doesnt realize as a I have not come across it in 6 months. I gave him all his files..I would think it was in there. I just want to be free of this already.

Lulu, if he asks after his passport again, tell him "haven't seen it," and think "but I have sure found my passport....to a new life."

God bless

OH pls...I texted him saying I didnt come across it and asked if he checked the files I already gave him a few months ago...his response was..I will check my files..I thought you had it in the safe..So he didnt even bother to check the files I gave him back in January to see if it was there. Meanwhile last night I went through everything again...Seriously??

Oh he's so clever isn't he... engaging too.... care to "dance?" <wink>

***

My exah ranted and raved for months about getting a list of receipts from me... I put them together and waited to see/hear from him to give him the receipts... well... I didn't see him for almost 2 months... so the receipts sat.

The day he came to get the furniture... I handed him the receipts... he acknowledged receiving the receipts.... only to call me two days later... demanding the receipts.... :wtf2

He thought he was clever... I'm thinking more like stupid.

If he wanted to talk to me, starting the conversation with I am going to divorce is not the way to go. I did not react at all. I ignored it. He is free to do whatever he wants.

Ha. Sure feels good to get rid of all that stuff, doesn't it!!!! Good for you!

Last Fall, I moved a chair to the shed...one that my X always sat in... (that's all he did was sit) - and it's sat there all Winter. I had to get rid of it, as every time I'd look at it, I was reminded of him. Ugggggh! TOday, I loaded it up in the back of my pickup and took it to the dump! Mashed my thumb in the process, but it was well worth it! It's outta here, and it was the last remaining thing of his!
