My rant for the day
I was scheduled to see my pain management specialist last Tuesday at the hospital for another set of steroid injections into my tailbone for my sciatica. I was there promptly at 8 am, shown to a room to wait, and waited...and waited...and waited.
A nurse finally pops her head in to ask if I had been helped, and I said I was waiting to see my pain management specialist. She said "Dr. Steffan's not here today."
I said I didn't understand as I had made the appt two weeks earlier at the front desk. Off she went to see what was happening.
I have NO idea who dropped the ball on that one, but he wasn't in, nor was he going to be in that day. So back to the front desk I go, along with several other people who had been scheduled that morning.
I had to schedule for two weeks again. Ugh.
Although starting back on the Neurontin has helped (I'm on day 3 of that), it's still hurting badly enough to distract me from my studies, which I haven't even got half of my assignments done today.
I feel like clawing someone's eyes out at the moment.
Guess I'll give in, take a damned pain pill too and hope it stomps the pain level down a bit. I just hope I can focus on my assignments.
You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

I know I've talked about healing my back, and specifically my sciatica, with Bikram yoga, but don't recall if you're open to that or not. If not, I'll stop evangelizing, even though it'll be hard because it's helped me so much.

Holy Moly!! Do they know this is the 21st century yet, or is that a surprise in waiting?
That you have done so much for yourself in this back of beyond, is astounding and
"I dips me lid" to you.
I can imagine how annoyed this muck up made you, as years ago I was left in a tiny room waiting for the Dr, who it turned out had gone already. His dumb staff member, had a Not very happy, pain filled woman to deal with.
Hope you are soon back on track with studies, and the pain has been reduced for you.
