You all haven't heard from me too much this year, I have been really occupied these past several months, with big life changes that are all good, though a bit daunting.

Keeping active in my face-to-face 12 step network, which has taken the place in large part, of the SR 12 step network I used to be active with.

Speaking of the "good old" network of SR 12 Steppers, which for some reason, seems to have been thinned out around here: I miss those guys.

i dont know about everyone else but i could really do with some strong 12 step folks to stick around......

i dont always agree with whats posted but i do suck alot of solid 12 step clarity here.

lots of early sobriety comes to this forum looking for precise 12 step direction......some only have access to wishy washy AA......Thats my opinion its not based on fact.

im sorry to see the lads go........and miss c and rowan.

i work a 5 on 3 off night shift...........it can be a real struggle to get to a meeting....a meeting that works from the same book i do.
sometimes the 12 step forum is the only "fresh air" i have available.

you know who you are........STICK AROUND OR ELSE.

A couple of those hard core posters made all the difference to me last year as I was struggling through early sobriety.

Many folks have migrated over to facebook. I find it less restrictive. You can PM me for more info. I was not friends with all of our hardlined folks, in fact I don't miss some of them at all. But a few who spoke the truth are out there on other places and can be reached

I guess maybe I'm a little confused here. Just what is meant when we say, "those 12 step folks?" Seems to me when we share our experience, strength and hope, no matter where it is, we're 12 stepping, i.e. carrying the message. Now, granted some may not like the way the message is delivered but nevertheless, the message is being delivered. Maybe I'm missing something. I do see a distinct difference between 12 stepping here on line, and f2f 12 stepping. I get that!! Folks come and go from SR but I've never thought of their leaving as being the result of no 12 stepping. Help me out here guys.

PS: For you political correct people, the word "guys" is being used in a general way, not to exclude any of you "gals."
