Oprah's advice

I was watching Oprah and the advice I heard made me think of myself and all my friends here at SR

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time"

Ahhh....if only we could

Oprah attributes this quote to Maya Angelou.

Here's another from Oprahland:

"Let go of the dream of what you want it to be...."

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time"
I have heard that before and believe every word. Often they will "tell" you too, ("I'm not an easy man to live with")...believe it!!!

It's hard for this codie to take things at face value sometimes, I always like to see the best in anyone. But I no longer do that to the point of distorting who they really are.

Thanks for this post, I needed the reminder.

Hugs
