Must read.
So I followed some advice from fellow forum members, and picked up Beattie's "Codependent No More." From the forward alone, I was like, "Holy hell, this is me."
I can't suggest this book enough. It's like your own private therapy session. Just you and her. She talks to you as if you're just hanging out, and gives you activities to do at the end of each chapter. I've found it *incredibly* helpful, so I just wanted to both recommend and say thanks.
