There was, until last week when due to copyright issues it had to be removed from the site.
The "How it Works and Why" book is viewable online at the NA site Recovery Literature in English (US), and it has chapters on each step and how to work them

Duh...I didn't even think to include this in my previous answer...in the step study forum right here, if you look at the individual step threads, often there are questions out of the guide posted in them.
