Thanksgiving week thankfulness!

It's the day after Thanksgiving, so what are you the most thankful for this year?

For me, it has to be my recovery! And my loved ones, especially my children! And my job, my labrador, my home, my sponsor, and especially my newfound connection with my Higher Power!

Love,
KJ

A humble life…Serenity.

To be able to give back, to what was Easily given to me.

I'm thankful for so many things - too many to list here. But I will say that I'm thankful for:

[1] being clean
[2] having no drama today in my life
[3] having a job
[4] my health
[5] my friends and family
[6] a Power greater than me

I'm thankful for:

1- Being alive
2- My recovery
3- My newly found faith
4- My family
5- AA/NA
6- My job
7- My few friends (non-users) who didnot give up on me
8- Not living in negativity anymore
9- Being able to plan something days ahead which was impossible before

10-
having no drama today in my life
And that's what I'm mostly thankful for. I used to call myself drama queen for attracting drama and chaous out of nowhere. Life was boring without drama in my life. Today , I live a much different life.

I'm most grateful for my recovery and all the blessings my recovery has given me. I have a new relationship with a Higher Power which gives me so much peace I never knew before. I'm grateful to be clean, to have good health and to have loving relationships.

And gratitude! I'm grateful for the spiritual principle of gratitude. Being able to be grateful makes the world a much better place!

I’m English and this year was my first Thanksgiving...most my mates in London being Americans. There were about twenty of us from all over America, me and another Brit’ and a Romanian all cooking, eating, dancing and just kicking back with each other all day round at our mate’s place.

I was already grateful as I could be for being clean, for my mates, for food, music...but on Thanksgiving I was totally grateful ‘cause all that was in one place. I was surrounded by all the good stuff. I’m totally hijacking Thanksgiving ^_^

I have gratitude for having the capacity to share honestly what's going on for me, regardless of the opinion of others ;o)
