my sister is in detox for drug addition (ocytotin, percocet, etc.) and will be released on monday unless they can find a rehab bed...
my parents met with her clinician and she suggested attending Al-anon meetings...but the al-alon website looks like it only deals with alcohol addiction....wouldn't nar-anon be more appropriate?

Nar-anon might be more appropriate, but alanon would work, too. There seem to be more alanons around, so that might be easier to find in your area.
