Stressing.
Got in a big fight with my girlfriend, Missed the gym today, have no money -get paid tomorrow, Bull sh*t at work, It would be so easy to give in, but i will not. AA was a help this afternoon but tonight i am in a pissed off raw mood. Tomorrow will be better, Thanks for hearing me out.
Hang in there, BKP...don't let a rotten day undo all the good you've done. Everyone has crappy days...it kinda comes with the package. Each time you overcome one, it makes it that much easier to deal with the next one that comes. You can do it!
Went to a AA meeting tonight heard from a lady that got sober in 1977. She lost one son to suicide at age 16. lost another one in 1997 to cancer, yet still stayed sober.
Made me realize how easy i have it!! And I was griping just before the meeting about being short because a customer hasn't paid me a few hundred they owe me. WOW what A woos I am! Stay strong things will get better--or not........stay sober

True, It is something when people go through those struggles and keep it all together. Things happen for a reason, what it is may make sense in the long run but thanks for making me and others get out of the funk of the night.
Hey BKP - Hope you are feeling better today and your perception on things is up. I have been very moody myself and have stayed away from SR for that reason. You are smart to vent it all out here. I do KNOW drinking will definitely take us backwards and won't help a thing. I also know you know this too. Hugs - Sarah
It helps me to know that no one on this earth is exempt from life's challenges. It's a part of life, a part of being human.
But we do have some choice in how we deal with those challenges.
And everything in life - whether good or bad - always passes. Really, might as well do it sober.

That is cool. I'm fascinated with how meetings vary in different places. I've only been to meetings in two cities in NC and they've done chips at every single one of them (although it is common for nobody to pick one up at any given meeting, but we still "give ourselves a hand for the chips we have.")
