Can anyone tell me if they ever heard of a halfway house in a condo?

Yes. In my city, they have them everywhere. Houses, apts, condos, we even have temporary ones out in the wild in tents during the summer. Why do you ask?

my ah went through a halfway program via the va hospital where he lived in a condo with about 6 other roomies. they had to work,do household chores and go to a set number of meetings per wk. after awhile, they were allowed wkend and holiday passes. i guess there maybe different types of halfway houses but not sure.

My bestfriend and I were having a conversation about halfway/sober houses and she told me that some are in condos?I never heard of that at all and any one that I had ever visited in the past was always in a house with 8-10 people living there sharing chores,cooking,etc...
So I guess times have changed for the better.Too bad people couldnt.

I have heard of this in Chicago.

3-4 people sharing a condo apartment under the supervision of an outpatient program.

not sure about the ans to your question. However, where my sister lives townhouses are called condo's.

there are even inpatient treatment centers that have the patients in high end Condos..........yup sure of it my husbands first rehab or vacation as I call that experience was in south florida in a really nice CONDO.......

Yes, have several in Atlanta--some are part of an outpatient program.

And there are all kinds of Sober Living facilities in California.

In my area, they are mostly in old houses.
