Thanks all for your support!
Tazman, Ive been less hard on myself. Thats the backbone to my sobriety thus far. The trick for me is to find a level where I can be comfortable with myself without totally shutting off altogether. I will know more about this in the months ahead.

You will continue to face challenges, but they do gradually get easier to surmount. I'm coming up on 12 weeks and have found that having an alcohol-avoidance plan in advance really helps. Last night I attended my first MLB game of my adult life w/out drinking. Just me and my son, so with me driving, drinking was out of the question. Everyone around me drinking up a storm, but never felt tempted. I actually think I paid better attention to the game and enjoyed it more!
Congrats and keep it up!
