What's New? Me!

Hi everyone! This is my first time to the forums, but not my first time to recovery. I am 2 mos. sober and also bipolar.

I am 49 yrs old. I am disabled and not working. I am married and my children are grown and have children of their own.

Not a lot to say but wanted to say Hi and thanks for letting me share a part of myself. Hope to see you around the forums.

Welcome to the SR Family! Glad to see you joined us, there is so much support and friendship here 24/7. I just recently went on Disability myself and my only child doesn't live at home anymore so I keep some odd hours and it's nice to know that there are always people here whenever I sit down at my computer. I hope you'll keep sharing as much as you are comfortable with so we can get to know you better.

God Bless & Keep it Simple,
Judy

Welcome to SR Kablume and congratulations on 2 months sober!! I've only been here a couple of months and have found the people here to be very supportive and encouraging. It seems that there is always at least 1 person if not many that can relate to whatever issue/problem you are having so you never have to feel alone.

HI!!! And welcome to SR! Loved the title of your thread! So catchy!
LOLOLOL
Congrats on your 2 months!
My mom has bipolar too. My Dad had been diagnosed with it (he's gone). So it's more than likely I've got it.. Then again, they said I'd be blind by the age of 21 since both of my parents wore coke bottle glasses, yet I've still got the 20/20 vision.. Hmmmm.. Maybe I really am more like my grandma..
Anyway, I hope you find the support and information you need here at SR. I know I love this place. So much I've been driving my best friend crazy because I hog his puter all day. hahahahahahahaha
