TOPIC: Why Do U Have Alcohol or Drugs In Ur Hands Right Now?
Hi Im Sharon and Im an alcoholic.
How many times I had a glass of
wine in my hands about this time
of day. Too many to count.
Having that glass in hand would
calm me down. Relax me. Make
me feel like i had everything under
control.
Of course that was some 18 yrs
ago.
The question for u is, why do u
have alcohol or drugs in ur hands
right now?
What made u pour that glass of
wine, or open that bottle of beer,
or have a mixed drink? How about,
what made u light up a joint, pot?
What bottle of pills are u grabbing
for right now, or just opened, or
just popped and why?
What drug of choice has ur life
all messed up with?

Right now I have coke, it liquid form (for those who don't know, coke, the pop, used to have cocaine in it, way way back in the day) and my cigs. Crack is my drug of choice, and it really did mess my life up. I was never on the computer while smoking crack. Always hiding in a bedroom, public restroom, woods, or an office.. Always hiding..

millions and millions of cans of beer over the years,,3 cups of coffee in the morning and tea for the rest of the day for me now! i didnt even think about why it was in my hand half the time,,it was just there,drank n i was drunk b4 i knew it,,thats how it was.not anymore thank god! but only odaat.:ghug

Sun Tea for me. I would have a BAD habit of getting a four-pack of tall boys, a pint of JD, & a pack of cigars- ate up a LOT of money! Just when I knew when it was time to crash for work ( I get up at 4AM & put in 13-hours days), I would just be GETTING STARTED. Lord, what a miserable workweek!!! I had this halfwit sense of entitlement of deserving a "reward" after A hard day's work- I deserved it all right!! Remember how nightmarish the world seemed in the morning. YUK!!

Right now I'm pretty drunk. Been lurking but just 1 or 2 posts. I know I NEED to quit, I WANT to quit, but it's just so damn hard at times. So many stresses, so many reasons to quit/not quit. I don't eat right, I don't sleep right. I'm not even sure how long I'll be able to stay on this site. I know I'm destroying myself, but every day those 2 beers to calm down turn into many more.

sober day.
Kinda nice to feel free from
