Hi Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the grace of my HP and people
like u hear in SR I havent found it
necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely
grateful.

As a newcomer getting to a meet-
ing was and still is very important.

In rehab back in Aug. 1990, i had
a driver who would come and take
us to an outside meeting from time
to time....That was her service work
in recovery. She soon became my
Sponsor.

Years later i continue to drive
myself to meetings in my own
car....Nissan Altima. That was
one of my gifts recieved in
recovery as ive continued to
stay sober.

Whether you walk, drive, fly.
Either by car, skates, motorcycle,
plane, rollerblades.....they r all
a means of transportation to
get to a meeting or do service
work in helping you stay sober
just for today.


Today, im looking at an Automatic
Trike Scooter:atv. Since ive not
conquored the standard means
of driving, automatic for me
is simple enough to handle for
today.

I didnt know they made an Automatic
Trike Scooter. So i went online
to check them out and BINGO,
i located some.....

I dont know how to get a picture
of one on here for u to see, so
if ud like to give it a try to see
what im talking about...then that
would be great.

Anyway,,,,,share about ur type
of transportation u have to get
u to and from meetings, or where-
ever u need to go to stay clean
and sober.

When I go, I walk, ride my bike, or ride with my sponsor or "grandsponsor". I'm determined to make it to any meeting I can by any means necissary. Guess that's just me though.

Today i went to a new meeting so caught the bus 19 miles... which is a biggie for me as i dont travel the greatest.

Needs must though
