Cyber Hugs to Impurrfect
Just wanted to ask everyone to keep Amy (Impurrfect) in their thoughts & Prayers. I got a short email from her today saying that she was in a car accident yesterday. She said she's ok, but I know that car accidents can be pretty overwhelming. She mentioned having to get a rental car and being on the phone dealing with her insurance company, which we all know can be lots of fun.

Don't wanna steal her thunder, but I spoke with Amy at around 5 this evening. I'm sure she'll update everyone but she was on her way to work in her gorgeous rental car...

Yes, I was rear-ended, yesterday on the way to work. A sheriff's car decided to hit the siren, cross 3 lanes of traffic, against a green light, so everyone hit the brakes. Of course, Mr. Sheriff kept going
I had decided to get checked out by my dr., as I was a "little sore" earlier in the evening. I am now VERY sore and since I ruptured a disc in my back, a few years ago, will definitely see the dr.
I'm grateful no one was hurt. I DO love my rental car..it has a kickin' stereo and it likes to go fast, so I will have to be careful

She is having WAY too much fun with the rental car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was almost giggling when I talked to her yesterday........I see a new car on the horizon here folks!!!! I am just glad your ok sis

I have a dr. appt. on Thu.. Spoke to the body shop...$2300 in damage, but insurance gets to pay, and my car should be ready in about a week. Took Brit (my 15-year-old niece) for a spin in the rental and she loved it
Still sore as heck, but taking ibuprofen for now. My dr. is well aware of my addiction and we have an agreement on how to treat my back pain when ibuprofen doesn't work. I COULD go to an ER and get whatever I want, but I choose to hold onto my recovery. I do, however, have to be able to move and work, and right now, I'm walking like a little old 90-year-old lady
