Can we start a thread for the class of September? My date is 9/14/08.

It's not been easy, but overall I'm growing more comfortable in this new way of living. Sort of tough today... I skied this AM (That was great!! ) and I am a little tired...My favorite football team is in the NFC championship game and my wife is away. Before my sobriety, it would mean beer and more beer, followed by a nap, then more beer. Maybe other spirits/dry goods.

Days like today, I find SR to be a great resource. My laptop in my lap, instead of a beer in my hand...

Well, hopefully some of the Class of September can find this daily support thread valuable.

Well, Monday morning. I work today, I am looking forward to it, actually. Yesterday, with all the football, wife away for the day, cold outside, time on my hands etc..., I can't say I wasn't thinking about drinking, or not drinking.

I think I'm 127 days clean and sober (I said in a post somewhere a different number, but I checked the calculator... 9/14/2008) today.

I think I need to work the fourth step. I need to be more comfortable in my sobriety, more accepting of the disease. More grateful.

Anyway this post is kind of a bump. Hope to get others from the class of September on board with this thread. So if your date is in September, check in here!!
