Day 8-feeling pretty good.
I started going to AA this weekend and have attended a total of 3 meetings. I am starting to understand really how AA works, the support I have received, the welcoming I have felt...is amazing. I have had a hard time fitting in to the right group, always feeling out of place, mostly in my head, but I really felt at home during these meetings.
I am having dinner tonight with a couple of girlfriends...I am going to tell them about my sobriety, so I'm a little nervous/anxious. I know if will go well, but, it's hard to explain to people that haven't been through it, what I am going through..make sense?? That's why I like it here and in meetings. Thanks for listenining.
