I can't lie about my continuing struggles with opiate addiction but I am never giving up. I want my life back and I know deep in my heart that I can get it back. I am going to NA and plan on adding more meetings both in person and online and working the steps over again. I refuse to give up on myself and in the end the benifit will be worth it.

Hi Big, thanks for posting on here. It seems like you have the right idea of what you want to do and what you need to do. Every addict has there struggles and relapses but what matters is that you don't stop trying to get clean. We are here for you! I think that the meetings will also give you some more support for when you are feeling at your lowest. This forum really helps me. Good luck!!

What a wonderful post. You're right. We can never give up on ourselves. If we relapse 100 times, we've got to dust ourselves off and do it all over again. We're all worth it!

Hey Big!! Thanks for you post! Please keep coming back and let us know how you're doing. You will find so much support on here. Keep attending NA if the meetings are working for you and work the steps until you get it right. I personally am not an NA person but I know that I need some type of support group to help me. Do what you need to do to help youself. I congratulate you for saying that you refuse to give up on yourself--that is the best frame of mind to have!!
