I want to thank everybody on here for the support I received every day.
I have not been able to stay sober for thirty days in a few years. This time I went to an AA meeting every single day, got a sponsor on day 1 and used her, and came here for support in the morning and at night when I came home from work. I really thought I was hopeless. I am starting to become hopeful again. It really is a miracle and I am blessed.

Thanks Astro. I believe way deep in my heart that left to my own self I never would have been able to put these days together. I would have been drunk again. Thirty days is wonderful, but I must continue to do what I am doing no matter what. At first it was hard to get to a meeting every day.
It works. It was hard to call my sponsor. It works. I learned with out a doubt if I go to a meeting each day, I can and will stay sober the 24 hours inbetween. Drastic some people tell me. Yes, but I am a drastic drunk.
