Winter driving - talk about a trigger!

Ok...so this maybe a little off topic, and I'm extremely jealous of those of you who never have to experience this, but we just got hit with our first bout of winter driving and man talk about a trigger. The stress of it taking an hour and 15 minutes to go less than 10 miles in no traffic is one heck of a stress inducer. I'm a little wound tight right now and would like nothing more than a beer (or 20) after this - especially without snow tires. But, I'm home and just trying to decompress. This'll be my first winter sober, and man I hope I survive the driving season. Sorry, I just needed to get that off my chest.

Good Job

Hey think of it this way, you'll sure be a lot safer this winter driving sober, as well as everyone else on the road. It may be stressfull, especially the first storm and no tires, but be grateful that you did not hurt or kill anyone in the past, driving drunk no less in a snow stor,.

We don't have huge jaffic trams but when I get stuck in traffic I use the time as best I can instead of focusing of being late or being stuck

I hate winter driving too, tho we've not had winter here yet. Do'nt like driving on ice, but worse than that is driving in fog!!

What makes me crazy in winter is people who follow too close, especially when the road is slick!
