Party's over, the Party has just begun

I have ,been sober 8 months. The adjustment has been intense at times, but I just hung on to the concept of not picking up ever, no matter what.

The loss (time, money, missed opportunites, financial peace ) has always outweighed the benefits of living connected with my hp.

Until right now, this very minute. I belive that God can and restore my to where ever He sees fit. And that is okay.

It took me a while, too, to see that HP always had my back, I just had to look to see all my blessings.

Have you tried AA?
I found when I did my AA steps 4 & 5
I was able to let go of my past
and move into the woman I desired to be.

Carol, yes, I go to aa 5 days per week. This includes a Monday Christian Recovery meeting, afternoon lunch meeings(how cools is that!) and regular AA Meetings. I am on step 7 now. My connection to my hp has changed my outlook on life and I could not have got there withouth the fellowship of AA!
