I passed up many opportunities this weekend to fall back into that old familiar trap. Attended a wedding of a friend, but did not stick around for the after-partying. I was tempted to go hang out with old friends at the bar/restaurant but thought wiser of it. Even the temptations of sitting at home and grabbing a drink crept into my head, but cooler heads prevailed.

Hey there!

U mentioned in a thread of mine how eerie it is that our situations are so alike...it is weird! But its nice to know we arent alone and there is someone out there facing the exact same thing. What about this weekend? lol I have a friend that doesnt drink often and she wants me to go out with her. She likes to just go and dance and gossip. Im debating whether or not to go. Granted I will be with someone else that is not drinking, so that will be good, but there will still be others drinking. I suggested dinner and catching up there, but she wants to go out. So I havent made up my mind if I want to attempt this or not. Good luck today! Im off to the park to walk. Busy day, my son didnt have school today so we are going to go spend money I dont have. lol
