A Poem - Bizarre Coincidence????
OK, ah’s grandmother passed away over 3 months ago. The service was April 12th . In *today’s* mail was a thank you card from his aunt with this poem:
God hath not promised
Skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways
All our lives through;
God hath not promised
Sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow,
Peace without pain.
But God hath promised
Strength for the day,
Rest for the labor,
Light for the way,
Grace for the trails,
Help from above,
Unfailing sympathy,
Undying love.
How strange it should arrive today.

This subject came up in my Bible study group this past year as we studied Ruth. The conclusion was that coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous. In order for these divine coincidences to work, however, the human characters have to act with faithfulness and courage.
