Hi, lynn here. 4th time in rehab. this time i moved far away from the people, places and things i associate with using... i moved 3000 miles away to california from connecticut. and i am staying sober, amazingly enough...

i live in a sober house, go to meetings at least once a day, maybe twice, I am going back to school, i go 3 days a week. i am dually-diagnosed and take my meds as prescribed. nothing narcotic anymore.

actually surprised i am doing it. didn't work any other time i tried... maybe being 3000 miles away from my husband and the life of drugs, dealers, and druggies - did the trick...

i wonder if i will ever be able to go home... or will this be my new home...
