I just wanted to say thanks for every1 support in the past and reading everyones posts on forum has help so much.
I feel so much happier and less depressed than when i was drinking. I wish i had done it earlier
It is possible!!

I think the thing that helped me the most was speakin face to face with a counsellor about my problems. She helped me talk it through and i could not deny that it was a problem in my life. I was very scared speakin to someone outside my family but it was best thing i did. She did various role plays exercises with me such a writing out a conversation between the side that wants to drink and doesnt and what advise i would say to encourage myself not to drink. Its simply not worth drinkin to feel low and worthless. Still have drunken dreams though. Thanks again for your posts
