Hi, it's my first day here. I haven't really lurked but figured I'd start a thread.

I am married to a man with addiction issues. I have been going to al-anon meetings since October 2006, and for a while I was in a really good place. But lately I've been struggling, and life has been getting in the way of going to meetings (I have 2 small children and can't always get a sitter and there are no babysitting meetings near me). Anyway, I have found myself falling into old patterns and I really want to get back to the good place I was in. So, since it can be difficult to get to meetings, this seemed like a great option for me.

There are some wonderful people here with a lot of ES&H. You may also want to check out the friends/family forum...a lot of people there are in the same position you are.

I'm a recovering crack addict, with codependent issues, so I post on different forums, and always find something that I need to read.
