I have to say that I am SO SORRY..I cannot get into the chat room. My whole puter freezes up. I tried updating Java, etc..but nothing is working.
Ugg!!! I will talk to the puter geek, my son, and see if I can get this fixed for next week. Please accept my apologies!!!

Have you tried closing all other programs except the chat forum? Sometimes a computer will freeze up or be sluggish when there are too many programs open taking up to much of the short term memory. Might be worth a try.
You also might consider running the defrag program if you have not run it lately. It will help speed up your computer as it will help it not have to search around for bits and pieces of programs on the hard drive. You can find this under "my computer" and then "systems tools".
