You know its an addiction when
You tell yourself every damn day that you don't want to do it, but as soon as you see it. You drink it down.
You wake up every day after saying "never again"
You'll a dollar bill down the street for 15 minutes, but you'll easily spend $3.50 for a beer at a bar w/o thinking twice.
I am sick right due to the fact I drank an extreme amount last Friday. This happens every 3 months. I get some alcohol induced virus since my immune system was practically non-existant. I had such a good week and now this week is terrible. THis only reminds me of the possibilities and positives that could be in my life if I hadn't drank for this past year or even weekend.

Come on, Lou, you can do it - like everyone said, just keep trying. Almost everyone slips, and all I have ever figured out that you can do afterwards is dust yourself off, try to figure out what triggered it, and keep on going with your head held high because you are reaching out for help and you aren't quitting. Keep fighting the good fight! Jomey
