My cancer story and AH

For you all that have replied to my posts about my AH and my cancer, here is a link to my cancer survival story that was printed in the local paper. Thank you for your help and words of wisdom and encouragement.
I did not tell the reporter that he was in jail through all of this, I actually never mentioned him at all besides his name and age.
This awareness is really giving me something to focus on and it is taking the focus off of him. We talked about it the other day for a bit and he is doing fairly well. Surprising me!
So, here is the link - http://muscatinejournal.com/articles...2417812844.txt

Wow. What an incredible story! A close friend of mine is one year cancer free. I can remember talking to her quite a lot, and her attitude was one of total positivity. Her influence on me and her positive attitude has meant a lot to me and helped me in many ways.
Your story is wonderful. I love the panty hose on the head!
I am happpy for you.
Hugs!!

“It says ‘You are not a survivor when you are cancer free. You are a survivor the day you are diagnosed,’” said Horner. “That helped me along.”
Now thats a powerful quote! Best wishes on your future health, Denise!

Thanks for sharing your story.
Reminds me I should schedule that mammogram that I've been putting off.
