Can anyone tell me why do I feel like the only person I know who loves rainy days.

The dark, black cloudbursts. Thunderstorms. Cold, hard rain. I revel in the haze gray days of rain.

My mood is lifted those days. During which I like to walk, get a little wet, etc.

I keep quiet when I hear of 99% of the population complain about it. Im thinking, "what?" "Its gorgeous outside".

I feel like part of the Munsters or the Addams family.

The way I like to see it as theraputic.

What does that say about a person who loves bad weather????

Not so strange, Introvrtd1. I, too, love rainy weather. Summer thunderstorms are my favorite, and despite the danger, I almost always go outside and stand in the rain. I love the sound of the rain as it hits the roof of my house. I sleep best on rainy nights...the sounds are so soothing to me. Rainy weekends? Love them, too. I just curl up under a blanket and read a book...drink a nice hot cup of tea...relax.

We haven't had a good rain in weeks here. I think I miss it as much as the poor, droopy trees do.

Yup, I love rainy, gloomy days too. It's raining here tonight, and that lifts my spirits.

I loooooove rainy days...especially thunder storms.
I think they are so calming and peaceful and comforting for some reason.

I love the desert monsoons in Arizona, a dust storm followed by a thunder and lightning storm. The louder and wetter the better!

I know someone that love stormy weather, She'll run out in the middle
of a thunder and lighting storm and dance every chance she gets.

I on the other hand suffer from that impending doom syndrom.
afraid I'm going to get stuck by lighting.

i like the before or after effect of a storm thou...that clam before
the storm or a rainbow after a storm. it's how i percieve my recovery
or life in general also. i don't really like storms but i know after the
storm the air gets fresh and feels brand new again.

I love violent thunderstorms with heaps of lightning and thunder and massive downpouring rain. Throw in some severe winds and I think it's a beautiful night LOL Everything good in moderation though
