So Far So Good
So Far So Good
Well I got myself in what I thought would be the right mindset. Then went and got the Chantix prescription filled. Read all the info and started taking it. The first week or so on it, it is okay to smoke.
What I found out at about day 10 or 11 is that 1. I no longer had a 'craving' for the cigs, it was just a 'life long habit' to reach for one, and 2. The Chantix made the cigs taste real NASTY and YUCKY!
So like I said "So Far So Good". Straws are helping to replace the habit of a cig between my fingers or in my mouth.
The only side affect I have noticed was some 'funny' dreams, not nightmares, just strange dreams. They have pretty much stopped now.
Just wanted to let others know so that this might help y'all also.

Laurie,
Glad to hear you found the "smoke-free" way!!! I can't believe it's been as long as it has been smoke free for me!!! What a blessing!!!
Keep up the great work and stay a day at a time, one craving (or not craving!!) at a time....
Blessings,
Jen
