I Know when I was going through a similar phase, it was because I felt I wasnt worthy of much, so if even a man who was not nice to me didnt want me, who would.

I wish you peace and self love, bc honestly, thats what makes the difference, or so Ive heard.

Allmyfault, i wish i could stop caring about my cachwr (douche in welsh) too, if he was a cachwr naturally without being an alcoholic it would be easier to forget him. It's so easy to feel sorry for them when they have this disease, but there's not a lot we can do is there. I think i will always care about my xab even when ive moved on and found a man with a funny accent who dances salsa, im just hoping it won't hurt so much to think of him in the future.

An update on my love life. Met a 22 year old and a 27 year old. Nothing is going to happen because of the age differences, but it was nice to get that little ego boost anyways The weirdest thing though is that the 22 year old was by far more of a gentleman than the 27 year old Hehe
