Smile Hope to share with all

Back in December I had wrote about my alcoholic father and his last binge which resulted in a seizure and near death. AT that time I told them (both parents) that until they got help I couldn't deal with this any longer. It has been 20 years. Well I wanted to share that my dad has been attending AA now since that time and has been sober. He loves his meetings and has found a great deal of help and support. I feel like after all these years I finally got my parents back. They are pleasant to be around.. I can only hope and pray it continues. So for anyone who needs hope I wanted to share this story.

How absolutely wonderful. Is it bad of me to admit to a little twinge of envy (a good kind of envy, but envy still - or perhaps jealousy)?

I'm very happy for you, and hope that your dad continues down the path he's on right now - for your sake, for his sake, for everyone's sake.
