I just want to say something to those new in..

the sober recovery and firstly im no expert but I just want to tell you that it is possible if you want to do it , and that we are here for you. Im still a newie at this only being sober for nearly three months and tho I still have the odd "moment" Im finding that I can cope I can say "NO" to myself! If it is your first day or week I just want to say hang in there you can get through it! I just want to offer encoragement to those that are starting and Im fustrated as i want to say so much but cant find the right words to write down! *sigh* basically please if you need help ask we are here to help at this bored as we know excautly what you are going through.

The first few months can be sort of rough. After 90 days, it usually gets a little better. Like the old saying goes, "It may not get any easier, but it does get better."

Hi aslhjsd new to being sober? hey so am I lol even tho its coming up to nearly three months. do you have support? have you got close friends that you can talk to? have you rung your local AA? Its a long road but its oh so worth it!! heck the time here at present is nearly 4 pm used to be my wine time and do I have any urges nope . all i can say is take each step slowly just one day one hour even. the people here are lovely start a new post write down your worries and what you want so you get replies . I wish you well and keep posting
