This morning i found out about four innocent victims of addiction. Apparently last evening four children (they go to my kids elementary school) were outside playing - ON THE SIDEWALK - when a car came speeding by swerved right up onto the sidewalk and hit all four children, one of the kids mothers witnessed the whole thing and one of their 17yr old brothers tried to jump in front and was injured also. All the kids were injured, two flown by medivac to DC's children's hospital and are still in critical condition this morning. and get this, the car fled the scene!!!! the driver, a young girl (i think they said 20yrs old) was later found in a nearby town high on drugs - meth. she was arrested and is sitting in county jail. please join me today in saying some prayers for these four kids and their families. I'm very angry and sad about the whole thing, i just saw two of these kids in a band concert on friday and they are wonderful children. Thanks everyone.

My prayers go out for those children and all who love them. How horrifying and tragic this is for such young people.

And, I am adding prayers for the girl who hit them also, that somehow through all this sorrow and devastation she can find her way back to sobriety and live with the guilt of what addiction has allowed her to do.

This is a heartbreaking story for all involved, so senseless and sad.
