My A husband just had a CT scan that showed a 3 cm lesion that is suspected to be either hepatocellular carcinoma or a regenerated nodule...on a liver with cirrohsis. He is very fatigued but no other symptoms. Has anyone had the same report...and what was the outcome? My A is scheduled to have a MRI to further study the lesion. Thoughts?

Hope that helps. I would suspect that his Dr will want to get a liver biopsy to try and confirm exactly what it is.
