Well, here we go again...

(opening line lifted from my thread in "Alcoholism")

Got (yet "another") Day One behind me. Appointments at the Health Unit tomorrow.

Saw my Counselor yesterday (personal counseling, not specifically for dependency issues, though he's seen lots of it). This is the NUMBER ONE concern for me, it HAS TO BE - other issues of my marriage and co-dependency, my other relationship, my recent breakdown, etc have to take a back seat - without getting straight I can't do anything about all the rest.

I'm glad you're continuing to try to move forward TenPacks.

I hope the counselling works out for you.

I'm glad you're here - you already know what you need to do - you've said it yourself. Focus on getting well - and things have a way of becoming more clear.
Please keep posting.

Speaking of things becoming more clear.... I think I am already posting too much, LOL.
I had one post called (I believe) "Thinking of Going Back", to AA after a 6-year absence, and another in which folks were posting about insomnia, and I asked about Lunesta and possible liver damage.

Do you think I can find either one now? LMAO!

tenpacks,
Keep that in mind, recovery is your top priority. Without sobriety, you will ultimately lose everything else. That sounds pretty harsh, but I think it's true for all of us.
As for posting too much... it's not possible! If it keeps you from drinking, post a million times.
