Sunflower

So far I have learned so much about myself and the issues behind alcoholism here at SR---just hearing everyones differences of opinions and sharing about their lives has really helped me to change a lot of things about myself.
The writing part of this is also terrific--where else can you share like this?The more reading and writing I do here the more I come to understand myself.

My life has been on heck of a ride--good and bad--I am almost 50 now and it took this long to find some of the inner peace I have longed for.All of you have helped me on this journey.

Tomorrow I go for a CT SCAN of my tumor and see the surgeon--I would never admit this to anyone but you guys--but I am scared-I have a bad feeling about this I can't shake.Probably just my own fear of nothing ever going right!!!

With all of you here--I will survive!!
