My cousin just called me. He was half in the bag. He was trying to talk to me like I was a girlfriend or something calling me honey and baby and suggesting I come live with him. I guess he thinks my job situation is far more dire than it really is. I'm so grossed out. I think I'm going to have to go puncture my eardrums now. I might have to slice off the whole ear, actually, if I ever want to truly recover from that call.

I cannot believe that just happened. I knew he was a drunk and felt bad for him but now I think I'd like to never ever see him again as long as I live yuck yuck yuck

Luckily he lives very far away.

Dont worry youre not the first neice to go through that my uncle is a big drunk(thankfully he lives in West Virginia and me in Florida) and he used to tell me how sexy I was getting growing up and that he would love to give me a back massage and a lot of other things and it was nasty so I know how you feel on that one

Oh I don't know WO, in some places its acceptable to date your cousin. LOL I had a cousin while growing up that I used to dream about marrying (of course he wasn't a blood relative--only a cousin by marriage) He was GORGEOUS.

I am a redneck, but I am not going to shoot my own food, or shoot anything for "fun".....I would eat grass first. Oh, well, I asked for that one by responding to the post, didn't I?

The sad thing is , most of the people from KY on the news, etc...... misrepresent the rest of us. I am just as mortified as the rest of you.....Kinda like the deer in the headlight thing, the not so smart ones are drawn to the "bright light" of the camera.

Only teasing Lilac. I was just musing about how on Seinfeld they show New Yorkers pronoucing the word as "sca-whirl-relles". It's so funny cause I know people who really say that.

What they show about New York on TV is mostly true. We're all in a hurry. But we're not as rude as people think. I like giving directions to the tourists and finding out where they're from. I love answering goofy questions like "Is this Manhattan?" when the Empire State Building is visible, we're on FIFTH AVENUE, yellow taxis are whizzing by, etc. ... umm, yeah lady. This is what it is. Not sure what you were expecting lol

Well, I guess I am a redneck!! Once my son killed a chipmunk thinking it was a red squirrel. In his defense it was the largest one I had ever seen. He said "Mom I have to eat it u said whatever I kill I must eat". I said this time u have to go bury it and be more careful next time and I laid on the quilt liberally. Later that night I went to get some steak out of the frig. and their he or she was frozen on my shelve. I have since cooked 3 and he loved them. So yes I am a redneck with a city accent!!! Go Figure!
