Introducing...me

Hello, all:
I've been lingering over in the substance abuse forum lately. However, the time to quit yet another drug is nigh. I'll be reading through posts here and seeking your help and shoulder soon.
Best,
Stagebear in NJ, USA

Hi, StagebearNJ;
Good to "meet" you!

It's not easy quitting cigarettes, but, it's possible. After 36 years, I've been quit now for One year, two months, one week, two days, 14 hours, 6 minutes and 58 seconds. That's 17423 cigarettes not smoked, saving $4,791.46. Life saved: 8 weeks, 4 days, 11 hours, 55 minutes.

We're here for you. Decide if you're going to use any help; chantix; welbutrin; the patch; gum whatever.
Get rid of ALL smoking paraphenilia.
And, most important, make a plan for doing things differently. In the end, that's what worked for me, and is continuing to work for me.

I'm wishing you the best. Remember to check into the daily check in thread.

Shalom!
